Lotería

Lotería is a traditional game of chance originating from Italy in the 15th century, which has evolved into various forms in different cultures, particularly in Latin America. It resembles a bingo game, where players use cards featuring images instead of numbers. Each player is given a board with a grid of images, and a caller randomly draws cards that also depict these images. Players mark the corresponding images on their boards as they are called out. The objective is to complete a predetermined pattern, such as a line or a full board, to win. Lotería is often played at social gatherings and is not only a game of luck but also a means of cultural expression, often reflecting folklore, tradition, and community values through its imagery and gameplay.
